Rhode Island House

This is our fourth house for these clients, and the one that they will retire in. Sited on a bluff overlooking the Narragansett Bay, the massing of the house slides a modern volume through two vernacular structures. Keeping to both its New England roots and the clients' modern taste, the house strikes a balance of the familiar and the unexpected.
